Yellow Girl aka McKenzie's Page

Here are a couple of 1 year photos of McKenzie.  Happy Birthday, Kenzie!

It's almost Christmas, and McKenzie's obviously learning how to do it the right way- in snow.  It looks to me like she is becoming a very beautiful young lady!

What a pleasant surprise it was to get an updated photo of McKenzie with her new "Dad".  She reminds me a lot of Cricket in the way she sits and in her expression.  She should be about 5 months old here.

McKenzie and her family have moved to a new home with a whole acre to run around on.  That should make her pretty happy.  It sounds like she is getting used to her new digs.  Here is a photo of her testing out the pool:

OK, I was trying to catch up on things, and I actually managed to delete most of McKenzie's Page, somehow, when making an entry from my laptop.  So, here are McKenzie's photos, reposted, as best as I can find them.

This is McKenzie at her new place, and getting fitted for a life vest.  I wonder if she has been canoeing yet?

This is McKenzie with one of her new housemates, a cat bigger than she is.  I will need a new picture soon so I can gauge how fast McKenzie is growing next to the cat.  I think she was 8 - 9 weeks old here.

I absolutely love this picture.  It is well composed, with great expression on everybody's part.  This is McKenzie meeting some of the new folks in her life, I think on her first couple of days in her new home.

Here is McKenzie on her last day here.  What a sweet face.

These are stacked photos of McKenzie at 8 weeks.   Too bad I am not better at this.  Thanks to Pat Zoscak for helping me take these pictures.

These are stacked photos of McKenzie at 5 weeks.
This is a photo of Yellow Girl at 5 weeks.  At this point, stacking is not her strong suit.  Eating peanut butter out of jar lids is definitely something she can do.  I think this little girl has a nice head, neck, and angles, and nice spotting.  She will probably be a very pretty girl and probably a future show girl.

Here is little Yellow Girl at 4 weeks.  Right now, I think she is my favorite puppy because she looks and acts so much like her Grandma Flojo, who is a great dog to live with.  She has surpassed her sister slightly in size.  I think she is a little softer in temperament than the other puppies, but will probably be very likely to want to please.  She is playing with toys a bit and likes to chew on fabric (uh,oh!) and now occasionally carries things in her mouth.

This is the little Yellow Girl at 3 weeks old.  She is a little sweetheart in every sense of the word.  She has a very feminine face and body even at this awkward puppy stage and loves to cuddle with people and her siblings.  She was the smallest puppy of the four, but has caught up with her sister in weight as of today.  I love her spotting pattern and how she likes to play with her siblings.

  1. Somehow, it looks like some of McKenzie's history is missing. Where did it go?
